CHANGE TO BYLAWS

The Diaconate is recommending 3 changes to our church bylaws. The first will align Deacon elections with our current practice, the second will clear up an inconsistency filling a vacancy on the Diaconate midterm and the third will allow the Minutes and Treasurer’s Report to be approved without a quorum. This will be voted on in the business meeting on June 22.

Members and friends of our congregation who have in some way been touched by cancer, whether from personal experience, through family members, or as caregivers, wrote entries for the book.   The booklets are complete and available.  Please call Barbara in the church office or e-mail Barbara at badams@wilkesborobaptist.org to order a booklet.  Members will receive a booklet free.  If you wish to purchase booklets for other people they will be $2.00 per booklet.
