DEVOTIONS BOOK Wilkesboro
Baptist Church is developing a book of daily devotions geared toward the
local population of people dealing with cancer and its treatment. We are
asking members of our congregation who have in some way been touched by
cancer, whether from personal experience, through family members, or as
caregivers, to write entries for the book. If you are willing to share your
thoughts on this subject, please call the church office, and we will provide
guidelines. The deadline for entries is Sunday, May 9. |

GRADUATE
RECOGNITION If you know of
someone in our church family who will graduate this spring from college or
graduate school, please let us know so we can recognize them in The
Beacon. Accomplishments in academics are hard earned and proudly
received! Let us celebrate with you. Please call the church office by Tuesday,
May 18. Our high school
graduates will be recognized in the 11:00 traditional service on May 23. Each
