LIBRARY NEWS

New in the church library! Angels in the ER by Robert D. Lesslie, MD. An emergency room doctor in Rock Hill, SC, shares true stories from his years of experience.

The Pawn by Steven James. This is the first book in a series with Patrick Bowers, an FBI agent who must stop a serial killer in the Asheville, NC area. A thriller! Stay tuned for more books in this series.

FAMILY DAY AT GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN

Monday, April 5, 9:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m.

Cost: $1 per person if a Wilkes County Resident (Must have proof) Families can either pack their lunch or eat in the Dining Hall. Permission Form required! Please sign-up in the Kids Korner sign-up book by Wednesday, March 31 if you plan to participate!!

 

FOOD FOR H.O.P.E. MINISTRY

During the month of March WBC is responsible for collecting non-perishable food for h.o.p.e. ministry. If you can help those in our community in need of food please place your food items in the labeled boxes. (spaghetti sauce and noodles, pancake mix and syrup, jelly, macaroni & cheese, Spaghetti O’s, Ravioli, Manwich, Ramen noodles, Tuna, canned meats, peanut butter and crackers, jello and pudding cups.)
