WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THE

RESURRECTION MAKE?

“I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today…”

The first line of that gospel hymn sums up the resurrection for me.  Our God, through His love and power, raised His Son Jesus from death, and is still at work in the world today through His Spirit.  So our worship week by week is not so much about religion but all about a relationship.  We come to spend time with God, and our time together changes us; helps us know Him better.  We leave just a little more in touch with His plans for our lives.

Like all relationships, this one changes and grows, so Christian worship over the centuries has changed.  Even in our lifetimes much has changed.  The goal remains the same – to help boys and girls, men and women meet God and strengthen their relationship with Him.  Come to church each week this season and expect to spend time with our living Savior.

“I pray that Christ may dwell in your hearts…that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”  (from Ephesians 3:16-19)                        - Mike Norman
