OPPORTUNITY! Dear Christians,
I’m writing this to help you realize what I believe God is presenting to this
church. I’m also seeking to assist you in using the very gifts God has given
each of us for this opportunity. I’m referring to teaching, training, sharing
the Good News of Jesus the Christ and being a Christian role model before
Wilkes County children. Our public school children, due to a shortened school
calendar, will not be attending classes on February 12th or 15th. WBC, in
partnership with FBC of North Wilkesboro, has the opportunity to touch the
lives of 30-60 (K-5th grade) children with the “Good News”. The WBC staff
plans a Day Camp type curriculum with Bible stories and activities, videos,
adults sharing hobbies, games, tutoring, reading, etc. The amount of time
committed will be determined by the gift(s) God is leading you to bring to
this opportunity. The Day Camp hours will run from Thank
you, Al
