SPECIAL CONCERT To celebrate Black History Month,
Wilkesboro Baptist will host a concert featuring musicians from several local
African-American churches. Saturday, February 18 7:00 p.m. Plan
to join us and invite a friend. Nursery
provided (birth-age 3) MERLEFEST 2012 WBC will be
supervising the Little Pickers Area for MerleFest on April 27, 28 & 29.
Volunteers will be responsible for supervising the inflatables for several
hours. Each volunteer will get a full day pass for the day they volunteer at
MerleFest. If interested please call the church office and obtain a MerleFest
Volunteer Application. WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL Registration for next year’s Weekday Preschool program has begun.
Wilkesboro Baptist Church members and those currently in the program can
register through February 15. After the 15th, registration is open to the
public. A completed registration form and a $60.00 non-refundable
registration/supply fee are necessary to insure a place for your child. THE GEORGE &
GERTRUDE KENNEDY BENEVOLENT FUND This fund was established in 1982 by the Kennedy family, with the
primary purpose to provide financial assistance to those in need of help,
promote and foster the ministries of the Wilkesboro Baptist Church, and the
spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. First consideration shall be given
to present and former members of our church with particular emphasis on the
needs of the elderly. However, assistance from the fund may be made for the
benefit of any poor, distressed and needy person. All requests are kept
